German Black Metallers DIES ATER started in 1994. But before that Drummer Eugen (aka Impurus) had a Solo Project called
CROMLECH. A Demo Tape was planned, but it was never released.
In early 2021 the Idea came back and he recorded single-handedly these old tracks again, together with completely new material in his Lighthill Studio.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity. Favorite Track(s): Die Feuertaufe, Grabenlieder

Really liked the raw style with very well-crafted melodies, the raspy vocals and every bit of the gloomy atmosphere, reminiscent of Rimruna, Krael and Dauþuz, to cite a few raw BM German bands I also like a lot. This one is a 4-track EP remaining under half-an-hour of punchy rawness
